It's all you need to know about the Spartan Stampede

The Michigan State University Stampede Rodeo is next weekend at the MSU Pavilion for any of you interested in seeing a professional rodeo in person! Listen Saturday at 9AM when Doctor Will Schultz, DVM (retired) and Lee Cohen talk with the advisor of the MSU Rodeo Club, Brian Nielsen about the club and this year's show. Rick Preuss from Preuss Pets will return next week. Brian will not only share details about the show, he will also tell you about a free concert if you attend Friday night!! Then we meet the Queen and President of the club Olivia Smith and the Club Vice President Allie McMillan as we learn about their experiences this year in the club, how they gained skills from Public speaking at events. Learn about the different events that will be taking place as part of the rodeo and the degree of difficulty for the participants as well as the success of the MSU program recognized as recently as last year as one of the best rodeo events in the country and one of the only professional rodeo events that is STUDENT RUN! Also being discussed is the importance of animal welfare and the different things they do to care for the animals that are involved in the rodeo.
