Why is the need so great for animal rescue operations in Lansing? Are all rescue operations the same or are there things that make them different from the others? Listen as Erin Marie and Lee Cohen from WILS sit in for a traveling Rick Preuss from Preuss Pets and an under the weather Doctor Will Schultz, DVM (retired.) They will talk with Patience Cole from Happy Feet Pet Rescue in Lansing and Karen McCloskey from Saved by Zade, a cat rescue based in Leslie. They will discuss the adoption program they are doing with the help of the PetSmart Foundation to try and find homes for cats and kittens. They also supply the Constellation Cat Cafe, Ingham County Animal Control, Capital Aea Humane Society and other rescues to help solve these problems
